Gabi’s SWISSMAN Story

[/heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“1/1″][vc_column_text]Unknown-300x259I am getting up at 2:30am – really cruel.

I start swimming at 5:08am in totally dark – depressive.

I take my bike at 6:20 – that´s the real beginnig of the race for me.

First 90km – it´s raining, it´s cold but i am still riding a bike.

Climbing on Furkapass – i´m walking … no more power in my legs.

Climbing on Grimmsel – walking again, sure i am not able to meet the limit.

17.05 at the second transition, 25 minutes before the limit, i start running.

15km of marathon i try to run, the rest is up the hill and i am walking again.

22.00 checking in Grindelwald,  last 10km is waiting – really steeply up the hill and in the dark.

00.40 i finally finished.

Don´t be discouraged. This race is especially about your head, about the people who are racing with you, supporting you and organizing this race. And all of them help you to finish this race just as they helped me. And i would like to say thank you to all.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“1/1″][social_buttons facebook=“true“ twitter=“true“][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“1/1″][fancy-ul icon_type=“font_icon“ icon=“icon-backward“ color=“Accent-Color“ enable_animation=“true“]
